About Go Solar Group
Go Solar Group is a Certified Tesla Installation Partner with an A+ Rating from the Better Business Bureau, NABCEP certified solar technicians, and German-engineered products. As the West’s Premier full-service solar company, we have a non-profit branch of our organization (1heart1mind), which installs solar solutions in Uganda with a portion of the revenue we earn from our installs in the United States. Through 1heart1mind and Go Solar International, we’ve provided Ugandan children with 4 million extra hours of clean reading light and study time, as well as an orphanage with a headmaster and school. Go Solar Group currently installs residential solar in Utah, Nevada and Texas.
The Inside Sales Manager directly manages the day-to-day appointment-setting efforts of the Inside Sales department. In addition to acting as the primary appointment setter, he or she mobilizes the operating procedures for the Inside Sales department as instructed by the Director of Marketing. He or she also coordinates optimal business outcomes between the point of lead generation and appointment sets. The Inside Sales Manager also enforces strategy and direction for the Inside Sales as directed the Director of Marketing, operating as the head of Inside Sales process. The ability to speak Spanish is a big plus.
Applicant Requirements and Preferences
- College degree in marketing, communication, or business preferred
- At least two years of inside sales management experience preferred
- Experience working with Zoho CRM a plus
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus
50 – 60k (DOE) with quarterly bonus incentives
Duties of the Inside Sales Manager,
Activities, and (Time Utilization)
1. Setting Appointments (85 Percent)
Setting appointments individually
2. Execution of Protocol and Process as
Determined by Director of Marketing. (5 Percent)
Associated Activities: A) Identifying filters each day to keep reps contacting fresh lists with best opportunities to set appointments. Provide qualitative gauge on data that Zoho reports and numbers alone can’t provide Inside Sales Team B) Identify and regularly find ways to resolve morale issues and improve motivation on both team-based and individual accounts
3. Coordinating and scheduling of streamlined appointment-setting procedures for Inside Sales Team as delegated by Director of Marketing. (5 Percent)
Associated Activities: A) Fixing issues with appointments and follow-up process B) Meeting with the Director of Marketing each week to discuss new process implementation,
needs, and impact of training/A/B Tests C) Identifying and eliminating gaps between training/testing concepts and actual phone approaches. D) Conducting first interviews with Inside Sales candidates.
4. Appointment-Setting Logistics. (1 Percent)
Associated Activities: A) Resolving any incongruencies or mishaps between CRM, prospect and inside sales representatives, including implementing of controls to prevent these issues in the future B) The scheduling of appointments and implementing
of procedural best practices for ensuring improved conversions as delegated by Director of Marketing C) Managing outside sales calendars and scheduling/rescheduling to increase number of appointments/diagnose and fix any loopholes.
5. Tracking and reporting on appointment-setting progress in relation to new strategies. (1 Percent)
Associated Activities: A) Offering data-driven suggestions for improvement if set rate is not up to speed with business development goals B) Providing weekly reports on patterns either contributing to or subtracting from overall success.
6. Assisting Director of Marketing with
Talent Acquisition, Post-interview Retention and Advancement/Performance Facilitators. (1 Percent)
Associated Activities: A) Selling company and brand identity in interviews. B) Delivering feedback on performance to Inside Sales Team in monthly one on ones.
7. Phone calls with leads and prospects in
the pre-sale process to ensure optimal customer service when necessary (1 Percent)
Associated Activities: A) Be attentive to and resolve customer service issues in the pre-sale process in conjunction with Director of Marketing on ways to prevent similar problem in the future B) Work with System Administrator in Ensuring technological controls to guarantee great customer service from lead generation to appointment scheduled C) Assist customers with scheduling conflicts and logistics when necessary.
8. Reporting to Director of Marketing on
why numbers are the way they are (1 Percent)
Associated Activities: A) Providing Director of Marketing with qualitative input that lends context to reports that Director of Marketing generates within Zoho CRM and Zoho Reports.
